Application
Acrylonitrile is an important monomer in synthetic fibers, rubber and resins. Polyacrylonitrile fiber made from acrylonitrile is acrylic, its properties are very like wool, so it is also called synthetic wool. Acrylonitrile and butadiene copolymerization can be made of nitrile rubber, has good oil resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance, and electrical insulation properties, and in most chemical solvents, sunlight and heat action, the performance is relatively stable. ABS resin prepared by copolymerization of acrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene has the advantages of light weight, cold resistance and good impact resistance. Acrylamide and acrylic acid and their esters can be obtained by hydrolysis of acrylonitrile. They are important organic chemical raw materials, acrylonitrile can also be electrolytic hydrogenation coupled to produce adipdinitrile, from adipdinitrile hydrogenation can produce adipdineamine, adipdineamine is nylon 66 raw material. It can be used in the manufacture of water-resistant agents and adhesives. It is also used in other organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry, and as a fumigant for cereals. In addition, the product is also an aprotic polar solvent, as oilfield mud additives PAC142 raw material.
Acrylonitrile is an important monomer in synthetic fibers, rubber and resins, and is an intermediate in insecticide chloromonitrile.
